Family Fishing Weekend
This year we will be having another family weekend when all the family can come and try fishing.
This year it will be held on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August 2026.
(This event is part sponsored by a Crowborough Town Council Community Grant)
We hope this will give you the opportunity to come along and try our sport, and hopefully enjoy it, which you can then continue to enjoy during the remainder of the summer holidays and beyond.
For many years CDAA ran Have-A-Go Days and a Junior Day each Summer and everyone was welcome to attend but we have now changed the format to one event with eight 1½ hour sessions available over the weekend.
You can bring your own tackle if you have some, but if you don't have any then come along anyway as
we have plenty you can use on the day.
You don't need any previous experience of angling to have a go with us, you don't even need to be a Club member and you don't need a rod licence as we will sort that out for you as well.
If you have fished before and are just looking to learn a little more, or you are keen to specialise your skills then this is also the day for you.
We really are a friendly bunch and come rain or shine we hope to see you on the bankside.
